Proof That GOD EXISTS (The Bible Is True)

Proof for God's existence! Batman's existence cannot be proved using DC Comics, but God's existence can be proved using the Bible. Proof for God's existence! Batman's existence cannot be proved using DC Comics, but God's existence can be proved using the Bible.

Proof? Yes. There is proof.
I have been told that trying to prove God’s existence using the Bible is like trying to prove Batman’s existence using the comics. But Batman doesn’t know the future.

People simply do not want to believe that God exists. For them, that means they would have to give up pornography, light or hard drugs, deceiving, sex outside marriage, the habit of wasting resources and a lifestyle in which they are the center of the Universe.

God proves that He is the author of the Scriptures because the prophecies have come to pass with accuracy. You might believe they were written after their fulfillment. But the prophecies have been fulfilled the way it was predicted by God, Christ’s death is one of them.

Living in 2019, most of the Biblical prophecies have been fulfilled, but there are some which happened in front of us and are proving God’s existence.

1. Isaiah 17 prophecy: Damascus is in ruins

This is the most recent fulfillment of a prophecy. Damascus has a history of thousands of years. Before the fall, Damascus was the oldest continuously inhabited capital in the world. More about Damascus, HERE.

The burden against Damascus. “Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, and it will be a ruinous heap.”
(Isaiah 17:1)

Isn’t Damascus a “ruinous heap”?
Was it an accurate description?
It is not wiped from the face of the Earth, but not habitable, either.

2. Another proof God exists: the state of Israel

Did you know that the state of Israel did not exist prior to 1947? It is a 72 years old state now (2019). From the year 70, when the Roman armies led by Titus have crushed the Judaic rebellion, burned down the Temple and destroyed Jerusalem, for almost two millennia, Jews did not have a country of their own. More about the history of Israel, HERE.

The Bible prophecy tells us that, at the end of times, Jews will have a country of their own, on the land their fathers lived long ago. For 1877 years (1947-70=1877), many people said that the prophecy is a lie:

I will gather you from the peoples, assemble you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
(Ezekiel 11:17)

It this not how it happened after the Holocaust, Jews got back the land of Israel in 1947? And on 5th July 1950, The Law of Return, which allows Jews everywhere in the world to settle in Israel as citizens. The Jewish people were scattered around the world like the gypsies are scattered today. If somebody would tell you that the Gypsies will have a land of their own, would you believe that person? No. It’s the same with the Jews, for 1877 years people did not believe that the Jews will have again a country, as the Scriptures say.

More proof? What are the odds of such a prophecy to come true if the prediction is made by man alone (not God)?

The chances are close to zero if not really zero. What better proof do we need from God than the existence of Israel? We can barely predict the score at soccer. We cannot predict something that big, which implies billions of variables, like a nation in the midst of over 200 nations.

How do we know that the Jews remained a nation even in the midst of so many nations, after almost two millennia? If they are not a nation, then who did Hitler wanted to exterminate? The fact that they were gathered based on their nationality (for extermination, unfortunately), is proof that they remained an entity, people, that they were not lost like the Mayans of the Aztecs.

So, at the end of times, when the Mount of Olives will split in two, the Bible mentions Jerusalem as inhabited by Jews. That was not the case until 1947. How do we know that the prophecy quoted below is not about another period of time, other than the end of times? Because, for now, there is no valley created by the splitting of the Mount of Olives:

For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem. […]
Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle. And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the East. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from East to West, making a very large valley; half of the mountain shall move toward the North and half of it toward the South.
(Zachariah 14:2-4)

3. Salvation

If the Scriptures are not true, we do not need salvation. The Bible tells us that we are all sinners, that our very imagination is evil:

The imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth.
(Genesis 8:21)

There is none righteous, no, not one.
(Romans 3:10)

If we want proof, we can find it, at a personal level, that God really exists: He said that we are sinners. TRY NOT TO SIN, not even a white lie, not even a little forbidden lust, not even one single selfish thought. Try that for a few days. Let’s say seven days. Not even one sin:

But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
(
Matthew 5:28)

Theoretically, if God and sin are just fairy tales, you should succeed, proving that you do not need salvation. After all, it is something you have control over, is it not? Can we be without sin even for a few days? Try hard, try to prove God a liar, you will see that you cannot be without sin. Not even the monks which isolated themselves could not succeed because we are conceived in sin:

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.
(Psalms 51:5)

People refuse to believe even when they have proof

Of course, people do not want to talk about what His existence means for us, with all that is implies. They say: “everyone with his religion”, “if you were born in China, you would be a Buddhist” or “if God exists, so does Batman”. But no author of any other book, excepting Bible, can say that s/he predicted the future and never missed. I will finish this article with the verses in which God says that He knows the future because He is the one making it come true:

Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure,’
(Isaiah 46:10)
